Basic Function

Account Executive is an extension of the Sales Department which requires a combination of loyalty, dependability, hard work, able to prioritize duties according to importance and urgency. The need to handle a multitude of tasks at the same time, organization skills, detail oriented, with a positive attitude. Attendance and punctuality is a must as this position is the focal point between the customer and the salesman. Main duties include: order entry, filing, following up on shipments, phone calls, verifying acknowledgements, emailing orders, tracking shipments and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ideal candidate preferably have a 4 year college degree
• The position requires the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written
• Good work ethic & strong desire to succeed
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and coach
• Friendly and persuasive with outstanding verbal communication skills
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented
• Provide and help with ongoing support to staff and sales team

Qualifications

Accuracy and detail oriented, strong multi-tasking skills, complete several concurrent tasks, manages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines, strong responsible work ethic, uses time productively to accomplish work goals, learns quickly on the job, is open to changing situations of tasks, and has excellent attendance. Computer skills and working with numbers are a must (word, excel, outlook, and access). The ability to comprehend technical product knowledge is helpful.
