Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently hiring an internal Technical Recruiter for our office in McClean, Virginia (VA). We are an award-winning professional services and Government contracting staffing firm with a focus on the Intelligence, Defense, Homeland, Civilian, Health sectors.

Responsibilities of the Federal Staffing Recruiter

  • Perform full life cycle recruiting tasks such as:
  • Writing and posting job openings to obtain resumes
  • Reviewing resumes and sourcing candidates from various job boards, LinkedIn, and our ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
  • Conducting outreach and scheduling calls to screen candidates
  • Reviewing candidates with Account Managers and submitting profiles to clients
  • Scheduling interviews and preparing candidates
  • Checking professional references, delivering offers, and overseeing onboarding progress
  • Building and maintaining candidate networks, obtaining referrals and leads, and redeploying former placements
  • Attend daily team meetings to discuss business updates, candidate statuses, and job sourcing priorities
  • Manage data in internal ATS by creating new candidate profiles, populating information, and tracking daily activity
  • Collaborate with Account Managers (AMs) in client facing meetings to qualify job requisitions with hiring managers
  • Assist AMs by gathering leads, attending client meetings, and staying up to date on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and market conditions
  • Conduct regular touchpoints with newly placed candidates and active contractors

Qualifications of the Federal Staffing Recruiter

  • 1+ year of recruiting experience with a staffing agency is required
  • Alternatively, a background in sales, customer service, client relationship management, hospitality, or other service-oriented industries is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in consistently achieving metrics, goals, and milestones
  • Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency and handle multiple priorities at once while maintaining elite customer service and timely communication
  • Outstanding communication skills, coachability, resilience, competitiveness, self-driven motivation, and critical thinking abilities are all necessary to succeed
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Recruiter is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree and/or comparable mix of education and work experience

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday
  • Hybrid : 4 days in office, 1 day remote

Compensation for the Federal Staffing Recruiter:

  • $55,000 - $65,000/year base salary
  • Uncapped commission
  • Potential quarterly and annual contest bonuses
  • Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) eligibility for contest winning employees
