Job Summary

Wood Herron & Evans LLP is seeking multiple Intellectual Property Associate Attorneys with a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering background (or similar) to conduct legal research, prepare applications, evaluate, and respond to office actions, participate in client interviews, and be exposed to litigation activities as well as other projects.

Wood Herron & Evans LLP will also consider registered patent agents.

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

• Three (3) or more years patent preparation and prosecution experience required.
• JD from accredited law school required.
• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar) required.
• Registered with United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) and the State of Ohio Bar

Required licenses or certifications:

• State Bar
• USPTO

• Names and contact information for three references (reference letters are not required), at least two of whom should be familiar with the applicant’s legal research and writing skill.
