Bosch Security Systems is a leading global supplier of security, safety, and communications products and systems. Protecting lives, buildings and assets is the major aim. The product portfolio includes video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control and management systems. Fairport, NY is the headquarters for the Bosch Security Systems sales organization in the United States and serves as the primary site for research and development, engineering, quality, and product management for intrusion detection systems, including state-of-the-art sensors, control panels, communicators and more.

This position starts in June 2025 and will continue on a part-time during basis during the 2025-26 academic school year (15-20 hours/week). Flexible on days of week (M-F). Hybrid work available.

Job Description



As a Graphic Design Intern, you will collaborate with the Marketing Communications Team to design print, video and electronic graphic materials that support marketing for the Video Systems portfolio of Bosch Security and Safety Systems. This includes product leaflets and brochures, print and web advertisements, trade show graphics and banners, videos, social media graphics and more.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in designing the graphics for ISC West, the leading security trade show in the United States.
  • Create original and edit existing print materials – including brochures and leaflets, advertisements, POS displays and banners; provide print-ready files for production.
  • Design web materials – including banner advertisements and videos.
  • Design graphics and promotional materials for trade shows and other events.
  • Edit videos and work with motion graphics.
  • Work closely with the Marketing department, including project management, PR/media manager, regional marketing managers and others within the organization.

Learning Objectives:

The Graphic Design intern will work closely with a staff mentor to build skills in following style guides and meeting Corporate Design guidelines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and build skills with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. You will have the opportunity to grow your portfolio with a wide range of professional graphic design projects.

Qualifications

  • Working toward a Bachelor's (preferred) or Associate's in graphic design, or equivalent blend of education and work experience.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
  • High-level competence with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite required.
  • Experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles.
  • Willingness to work independently to develop graphic materials that are consistent with Bosch Corporate Design.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to proof-read graphic materials.

Additional Information



The U.S. based hourly rate for this role is between $22.00 - $23.00/hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
