Title: Documentation Specialist I

Location: Waltham, MA

Duration: 6 Months+ Possible Extension

Hybrid Role

Manager Notes:

Must have:

• International Shipments preferred.
• Minimum Education: AA Degree/ Degree in Supply Chain or Biology preferred
• MS Office Suite, MS Teams
• Attention to detail, good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Pharma or biotech shipping/ logistics experience
• Strongly preferred: shipping documentation experience, declarations, etc.
• 1-3 years' experience in relevant role
• Logistics, trade compliance backgrounds would be a strong fit
• Power automate, MS Lists experience a plus.
• Degree in Supply Chain or Biology preferred Experience with International Shipments preferred.
• Experience in the Biotech and/or Pharmaceutical Industry a plus preferred

Description:

• Assist with the editing of shipping documents (Shipping Request Forms, US government agency declarations, quality documents etc.) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and efficient cycle time for shipments leaving R&D sites.
• Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy.
• Must possess sound interpersonal and information gathering skills, being able to relate well to others at all levels throughout the organization and have the ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
• Prepare and/or maintain detailed records of all shipments processed.
• Update and draft SOPs related to the shipping process at the sites supports.
• Knowledgeable of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Rely on instructions, trainings and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Experience in supply chain or in biological fields is a plus.
