Watonwan County Human Services is currently seeking applicants for a full-time (40 hours per week) vacancy for a Public Health Nurse or Registered Nurse - Sexual Reproductive Health Services (SRHS) and Immunization (IMM) Coordinator. ** Note there is only one vacany and this will be filled at the appropriate level based upon applicant's qualifications.
The salary range for the PHN is $32.14 - $43.46 per hour.
The salary range for the RN is $31.31 - $42.25 per hour.
Under the direct supervision of the Community Health Services Manager, the SRHS/IMM Coordinator will help promote services to eligible participants providing sexual and reproductive health counseling, voluntary and informed decision-making on sexual and reproductive health, information on and provision of contraceptive methods, sexual and reproductive health screenings and treatment, pregnancy testing and counseling, and other preconception services. This position also provides general nursing services including immunization and other duties as assigned as a back up to other public health programs with the county.

Minnesota Merit System Minimum Qualifications
Public Health Nurse: Certification as a Public Health Nurse in Minnesota and current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota.
Registered Nurse: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
Watonwan County Preferred Qualifications
Current BLS/AED certification.
Ability to speak and interpreter Spanish.
Experience in health promotion and prevention.
Experience working in public health, family health and/or WIC programs.
Conditions of Employment
Must possess a valid State of Minnesota driver’s license.
Must satisfactorily pass a criminal background examination.
Must comply with organizational and departmental policies.
