Senior AV Field Engineer

Position Overview:
Are you passionate about ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of audiovisual systems? Join our client as an AV Field Engineer and play a crucial role in the final stages of delivering high-quality AV solutions. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional with experience in field engineering and commissioning AV systems to ensure they meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

System Commissioning:

  • Conduct comprehensive commissioning of audiovisual systems, ensuring all components function seamlessly.
  • Fine-tune audio, video, and control systems to meet performance standards and client requirements.

Quality Assurance :

  • Perform rigorous testing and verification of AV installations to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to audio quality, video clarity, and control functionality.

Client Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their expectations and preferences during the commissioning process.
  • Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of commissioned AV systems.

Documentation:

  • Create detailed commissioning reports, outlining system configurations, adjustments made, and testing results.
  • Maintain accurate records of configurations and settings for future reference.

Collaboration with Installation Teams:

  • Work closely with installation teams to ensure that systems are installed according to design specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during the commissioning phase.

Qualifications:
* Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., Audio Engineering, Electronics).
* Proven experience as an AV Field Engineer or similar role.
* In-depth knowledge of audiovisual systems, including control systems, DSP programming, and signal processing.
* Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
