Hours and Location:

  • We are located at: 1500 Lee St. Suite 100, Alexandria, LA 71301.
  • This pharmacy serves the local community: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

As a PRN Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to a community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management. (The PRC role is an on call, backup for the PIC on vacation / sick days, etc. type of role)

  • Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy counseling services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
  • Build effective relationships to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
  • Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
  • Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.

What You’ll Bring:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Pharmacist license current and in good standing in the Louisiana.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.
